Here is a list of the most common questions I get asked. If you can’t find the answer to your question here, please contact me via the Contact Dieter page.

What is Life Coaching? Life Coaching is working together with a coach to focus on yourself and your life, to get it back into balance, to find fulfilment and achieve great goals. It is to help you understand more of yourself and help you be the best of yourself to lead the life you want to lead. Inbetween sessions homework and tasks are set for you to work on and this is where the real growth and action takes place.

What is Coactive Coaching?  A unique relationship between you and your Coactive trained coach. This relationship creates a safe environment for you both to work together, learn and grow and generates the opportunity of transformational change for you.

Is it possible to try before I buy? Absolutely. I invite all prospective clients to have a free taster session to see if they value the process and to see if we are compatible to work together.

How often do sessions take place? Sessions usually take place once a fortnight unless you have a particular short-term issue you need to move forward.

How long do sessions last? Initial discovery sessions are 90 minutes long. After that, sessions are 45 minutes long.

Do sessions have to take place face to face? No.  I work with many clients via telephone and Skype. So distance is not a problem. If you prefer face to face sessions please get in touch and we can see what is possible for you.

How many sessions will I need?  Whilst it is possible to experience growth and change from just one session, the real benefits of coaching occur over a number of sessions. The real answer is it is up to you. The more you put into your work the more you will get out of it. There is a minimum of 3 months commitment at the start of the coaching relationship which ensures the maximum value to you. Thereafter the commitment is on a month by month rolling basis.

Is it confidential? Yes 100%.

I don’t understand the difference between coaching and counselling?  Counselling helps clients with certain situations that they have experienced in the past. It gives them tools to deal with those experiences and helps them now live their everyday life. Coaching is more focused on where people are today and where they want to be in the future and how they want their lives to be in the future.

Will I achieve my goals through coaching? If you commit to the process, if you commit to working on yourself, if you commit to change, it will happen. That I guarantee.  It is impossible to say how things will unfold for you but by working together we will work out what you want for yourself. How likely you are to get it depends on how much you put into it.

Is there a money back guarantee?  I am passionate about helping people transform their lives. If you genuinely feel after the first 3 months that you have not benefited from the coaching I will re-imburse the full amount of your investment – without question.
